Senior Pastor

Tom & Mandy Polk

Pastor Tom Polk has a desire to see God move and grow people into a Godly life.

He is committed to serving the body of Christ and  the community, and has a strong desire to see
The Well @ Jones Swamp live up to it’s potential of helping people live better lives through Christ.

With Pastor Tom’s forward thinking and dynamic leadership, the church has grown rapidly and has recently added a second service to the Sunday morning schedule.  The Well @ Jones Swamp has also become one of the top 14 churches in attendance for the South Carolina International
Pentecostal Holiness Conference (SCIPHC).

While known for his object lessons during sermons and his down to earth preaching,  Pastor Tom is spirit-filled and spirit-lead with an anointing that God is using to touch and change lives.  “The sign doesn’t lie”, is a saying Pastor Tom is known for, reminding people that the true Spirit of God is operating in this church.

Pastor Tom is the son of Azilee and the late Thomas Polk of Islandton, SC.  He was raised by an entrepreneurial father who was a farmer, factory worker, and restaurateur.  His mother still operates
the family-owned restaurant, “Polk’s Barbecue”
located in Islandton, SC.

Pastor Tom attended Bible Training Institute and Tomlinson College, in Cleveland, Tennessee.  He continued his studies at the University of South Carolina where he earned a degree in
Interdisciplinary Studies (Business and Sociology)
and through the International Pentecostal
Holiness Church (IPHC).
He is a licensed minister with the IPHC.

In 1997, Pastor Tom married his wife Mandy.
Their daughter, Kayla, who was born with
Cerebral Palsy, passed away after a brief illness in 2003. This was a crucial time the Lord used to mold them both to begin their ministry work.
Their ministry at The Well @ Jones Swamp began
in 2006 as the Associate Pastor, then as the Senior Pastor in 2009.
